The story of Monica Kimani’s murder took whole new twist after Maribe was arrested in connection to the death of Monica Kimani. The arrest was made after orders were given by the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti. Her fiancee; Joseph Irungu was arrested days before she was interrogated and police mentioned that he was identified by witnesses. Even before the arrest of the Tv news anchor, some Kenyans came to her defense saying that people should not tag her name in all this and that she looked innocent in regard to what happened.
They say that this ninja formed an alibi that got him shot the same day Monica Kimani was killed at kilimani. That has 2 be the lamest Alibi ever.
But I think dragging Jacque Maribe’s name 2 the ideal is wicked. Everybody is individually responsible 4 their decisions. #kilimani pic.twitter.com/wySgMyPVnR

With the new developments, confusion hits in, those who earlier stood for her are now faulted for remaining silent following Maribe’s arrest and some Kenyan gone to the extent of admitting that they have lost confidence in the TV news anchor.
Your silence on the new Jacque Maribe developments are pretty loud. Say something https://t.co/9fOcOKQow7

Should Jacque Maribe happen to luckily get away with this, will @citizentvkenya still have her behind their cameras after her integrity being put to question??
I believe quite a good number of Kenyans have lost confidence in her..— ♦MAINA. (@Wa_njoki_) September 30, 2018
More questions arise and this time looks pretty difficult to take sides. While a number of Kenyans have come out to urge others to Pray for her all that others want is Justice. One describes it as a night mare for Maribe…
Such a nightmare for Jacque Maribe let’s us remember her kwa maombi pic.twitter.com/KsVWrO34bs

What if she’s found guilty? The police couldn’t have arrested her without probable cause. Pray for justice. Pray for Monica.
