Kenyans on Twitter have stood in solidarity with Jacque Maribe following the incident where her fiance Joseph Irungu alias Joe Jowie was arrested in connection with the murder of a 28 year old Monica Kimani.
Kenyans are against the incident where the TV girl is being quoted everywhere in media when referring to her fiance Joseph Irungu.
They claim it is not Maribe who has committed the crime and thus the media should stop quoting her name but instead use the official name of the arrested suspect.
Irungu is facing charges for allegedly murdering Ms Kimani after the police arrested him following a report recorded from neighbors by police that he was the last man spotted at Monica’s compound in Kilimani before her demise.
Irungu was on Wednesday charged at Kiambu Law Courts with murder.
On Thursday The Standard Newspaper gave Maribe a headline with her picture on the front page while referring to her fiance who is being held by the police, citing that Maribe was being sought by detectives for interrogation on their whereabouts at the time of the murder incident.

In the case of Joseph Irungu, why should we not talk about Jacque Maribe yet her vehicle was spotted in Monica Kamau’s residence just before she was found dead.
