Aubameyang praises Arsenal star

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has heaped praise on goalkeeper Petr Cech for keeping them in the game as they beat Everton 2-0 in an English Premier League game on Sunday 23rd September.

Arsenal seems to have fully recovered from the consecutive defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea at the start of the season having won all games since then. The 2-0 win over Everton marked the first clean sheet kept by Arsenal in all competitions this season. Cech impressed in the win over Everton despite many calling for Bernd Leno to start ahead of him for his inability to play the ball from the back.

Aubameyang praised Cech for his impressive saves in the game, “I think 20 times maybe, Cech kept us in the game, I think we are improving every day and feeling good and better, so when we win it is better for the team. ‘It is going well and we are enjoying training at the training ground.”

The Gabonese striker also hailed his partnership with Lacazette, “I’ve had a good relationship with Lacazette from the first day I’ve been here; we enjoy playing together. It helps a lot, because I know what he will do so I can make another run.”
