Polycarp Igathe has just been named the Managing Director of Equity Bank Kenya months after he announced that he ha had resigned as the Nairobi Deputu Gonernor. The new promotion comes barely five months after joining Equity Group Holdings Plc.
This marks the completion of the Group’s strategy of separating the management of its subsidiaries from that of the Holding Company. kenyans on twitter were quick send congratulatory messages to him. Some even said he deserved the job.
