Manchester United makes surprise inclusion in the Champions League squad

Manchester United defender Diogo Dallot has traveled with the squad that is set to take on Swiss opposition Young Boys on Wednesday 19th September in a UEFA Champions League clash.

The 19-year-old is yet to feature for Manchester United since joining the club in the summer transfer window. Dalot joined The Red Devils from Portuguese club Porto for a fee believed to be around £19M but suffered a knee injury that required injury, keeping him out of pre-season and the opening games of the season. Dalot featured for the reserves side last week on Friday, impressing with his displays in the game under the watch of Jose Mourinho.

Luke Shaw has also traveled with the squad to Switzerland after missing the 2-1 victory over Watford over the weekend having suffered a concussion while on international duty with England. Jesse Lingard, Antonio Valencia, and Phil Jones were not spotted at the airport when the team departed for Switzerland from Manchester.
