Arsenal made it three wins in a row after beating Newcastle United 2-1 on Saturday 15 at St James’ Park Stadium.
The Gunners had to wait up to the second half to find the opener through Granit Xhaka who scored a wonderful freekick. Mesut Ozil scored the second to put Arsenal in a commanding lead. Petr Cech failed to keep a clean sheet as he conceded a late goal in the stoppage.
Despite his goal, Some Arsenal fans are not happy with the player and they feel he should not start ahead of Luca Toreira. Here are some of the arguments by fans on if the players should start or be benched
What a free kick from Granit Xhaka. Maweeee!!!!!⚽️⚽️⚽️🔥🔥🔥

Can't work out if Xhaka is trying to make a point with this after he scored. Looking up at the away fans. pic.twitter.com/cXt3sjBgRN

Good game. Xhaka showing his quality, Ozil getting on the scoresheet, Torriera putting in a good argument to start and the team improving under Unai!!💪🏿#3points#NEWARS#COYG pic.twitter.com/JBQjGl7MWb

I agree with that. My point is Ozil has the ability to perform better. Xhaka is too limited a player for me. No mobility, tenacity or urgency. All key attributes for a midfielder. You could argue that Ozil lacks those also but he makes up for it in world class creativity.

More than the fact granit xhaka still starts? (Even tho he scored today) he is so bad

celebrating xhaka golazos when you know it's just gonna keep him in the starting lineup for another week pic.twitter.com/ChYuaCL64e

Some are so hellbent on hating Xhaka they will give all the credit to Torreira for changing the game and ignore the fact that Xhaka pelted one from 30 yards to crush Geordie hopes. These two together are formidable. Our best midfield.
