Compensate Taj Mall Owner, Kenyans Blast

Kenyans now want the Taj Mall owner to be compensated following the incident that happened on the morning of Saturday 15th 2018.

The mall which which was located in Pipeline Emakasi South Constituency was brought down on the grounds of being built on a road reserve.

The government claims that its demolition will provide space for the construction of a wider service lane along Outering road.

The owner had been given a notice of bringing down by 30th August 2018, an order that was defaulted.

Kenyans have now taken to social media to demand for the compensation of the owner since the project was fully approved by responsible government authorities before its erection.

some are now urging the county government of Nairobi to be held responsible while others demand the national government to be held responsible.

However, some Kenyans are worried that if might cost the tax payers if the owners go to court to acquire orders for their compensation.
