“I was almost giving up.” Ommy Dimpoz speaks of his ailment

 

 

“I was almost giving up.” Ommy Dimpoz reveals what he has been going through for the past few months. The Tanzanian artist, in a post shared on his instagram page, explained why he was sharing a photo of him in ICU.

 

” I give thanks to the Almighty God  for giving me a chance to see another year”

These heartfelt words come on a day of celebrating his birth as he turns a year older.

 

He also reminds us that as human beings, we are  clueless about what will happen to us tomorrow and therefore he advises that we should not live in hatred or enemity. ” You may be well today but bedridden tomorrow.”

On his post, he narrates how during the time he was ailing and admitted, he thought his time was up. He however felt encouraged after  doctors managed to  save the life of the patient next to him, (who had taken nine bullets after  he was attacked by robbers).

It has been about 5 months now since the talented Tanzanian artists opened up about his medical condition saying that a Tanzanian hospital diagnosed him with throat cancer.

Omary Nyembo then seeked medical attention  in South Africa where doctors said that he was not suffering from Cancer. Earlier last month, Ommy Dimpoz manager  Seven Mosha ,rubbished rumours which suggested that the artiste’s condition had deteriorated.

The Tanzanian artist also informed that he is getting better. He also mentioned how grateful he was to his family and friends including Ali Kiba, his manager Seven Mosha and Mombasa Governor ; Hassan Joho for supporting him throughout his treatment period.
