The tweet was met by angry comments from Kenyans. Where they even went ahead telling him to stop taking loans from China but instead take loans from his Deputy President William Ruto.
Just recently DP Ruto carried Sh10 million in a backpack which he used to buy 1,400 goats at an auction in Kajiado county on Monday.
Mr Ruto said Sh5 million was from his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta meant to buy 700 animals while the remaining half was his for a similar number of goats.

Uhuru’s first tweet on the forum, he celebrated the newly created kitty “as part of new measures to strengthen Sino-Africa ties.”
Here are some reactions from Kenyans following his $60 billion kitty from China
Instead of asking China for a loan, please speak with Ruto. He can fund this year’s budget. He is extremely successful at growing money. He can multiply 0 by 1Million and get a billion.

Mr President even in Mogadishu the price of super petrol is 75 kshs while diesel is 70kshs per litre. In Ethiopia a landlocked country super petrol retails @65 kshs and diesel @45 kshs, what’s this ? Kenya?140 kshs/ litre? This is Theft of the highest order. Fruits of corruption.

Rather than borrowing from the Chinese who will take away our ports when we default like they are doing in Sri Lanka! & treats us like slaves why can’t Jubilee just borrow the money from Ruto’s bottomless Money Bank? pic.twitter.com/FvBCFtviz2

@NyakiOwiti don’t take another loan from China your DP is capable of lending, today he carried 10 million cash for goat auction.
