Arsenal have been known to be inconsistent in their performances this season. Despite that, they have players who have impressed in almost every match that the Gunners have played. These players have set their minds, and seem to be fully focused on the campaign, and fully deserve to be recognised for their hard work this season.

They are the beacons of hope for the team and the rest of the players. Arsenal should be glad to have these players in the team, who have contributed a great amount this season.

If not for their efforts and commitment, Arsenal could well be an average team in the Premier League, and Arsenal will want to keep these players for as long as possible in order to perform well in the future.

3. Jack Wilshere

Wilshere has been impressive thus far into the season. His career at Arsenal has been hampered by multiple long-term injuries, which greatly reduced his play time and potential. The Englishman made his debut for England when he was just 18, but in the last 8 years, he has made just 34 appearances as of February 2018.

He went on loan to Bournemouth last season but returned early after suffering an injury towards the end of the campaign. Thereafter, he worked his way back to fitness and into the team.

Arsene Wenger has a habit of playing youngsters and those who failed to make it into the starting lineup, in Europa League as well as cup fixtures. The Arsenal manager saw it as a way to let all of his players get game time even if they were not playing at the highest level in the EPL.

Wilshere worked diligently in the Europa League, made eye-catching appearances and illustrated how dangerous he can actually be. That led to a growth in confidence for him and also for the manager.

2. Mesut Ozil

Before Alexis Sanchez left Arsenal, many thought that he was the man Arsenal was heavily reliant upon. Indeed, Sanchez is a goalscorer for Arsenal and he has often saved Arsenal from losing. After his departure, it seems like this German international is actually the main mastermind behind the successes at Arsenal.

This is no wonder why Arsenal had been so desperate for him to stay with the club and Ozil has committed his future recently.

Cutting a lethargic figure the last few seasons and always staying up front, Ozil has since been more involved in tracking back. Once he gets the ball from deep play, he advances it forward, doing what he does best.

Since Ozil made his league debut in 2006, he has created more than a thousand goal scoring chances in the top five leagues, becoming the only player to achieve such a milestone.

Despite so much pressure and attention on him, when Arsenal needed him most, he stood up to support the attacks and gave all his best. Even amidst all the fuelling rumours surrounding his future, he has never showed his displeasure in playing for the team. In the next few seasons, fans will be expecting a lot from him given that he will be earning a reported salary worth up to 350 thousand per week.

1 Aaron Ramsey

Nearly ten years ago, Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff City. His early potential faced a major setback when he suffered a serious double leg break in 2010 while playing against Stoke City.

Many have struggled to regain full fitness after such a serious injury, but for the Welsh, he went against the odds to rejoin the first team. In Arsenal’s recent match against Everton, Ramsey scored his first ever career hat-trick. It surely was a memorable night for him.

Like Wilshere, Ramsey has suffered niggling and frequent injuries throughout his career. For many, it seems like he plays much better for Wales than for his club.

This season, he managed to stay fit on most occasions and has scored 6 goals. He last scored 6 goals during the 2014/15 Premier League season. The highest number of goals he scored is 10 when he played in 2013/14 season.

Ramsey has not yet played in the Europa League this season, but if Arsenal were to advance, Wenger will introduce more first-team players and that may include Ramsey.

On a superb form this season, he has worked well together with Granit Xhaka in the midfield. He still has room for improvement from a defensive point of view but in terms of attacking, he is nearly achieving a perfect score for his performance this season.
