Kenyan celebrated musicians Sauti Sol and Nyashinski released a political song on Wednesday Morning.
The song dubbed “Tujiangalie” talks about the world right now and the number of persistent issues plaguing it. These things are hardly ever solved and we are consistently shortchanged.
On their you tube channel the group posted saying, “Our first realization was to speak power to the reality that we are living in, hence the title “Tujiangalie.” Self-reflection. Recognizing that we have the capacity to change the world we live in by looking inward and holding ourselves accountable for the role we play in society. The truth is “when you make your bed, you lie in it!” None of us are perfect.
None of us are exonerated. We have all contributed to and benefited from the flawed systems. But, change is a result of possibility. If we all decide to personally act towards building a world we are proud to live in, then it will become a reality.”
However with just a few hours out the song has created a buzz onn social media,
Here are some reactions

Sautisol & Nyashinski stepped up to the occasion on this one. There is a simmering generational revolution in Kenya, and art is leading the way to make that happen. This is a reinvigorating masterpiece for all young people in Kenya. https://t.co/26PKCTDkal

Kudos “Sauti Sol” for the dope art. At least it now dawns on you that Kenya’s Music Industry needs more than nudity and sex pang’angas. Thanks for voicing our immediate concerns as a Nation. @RealShinski verse was lit.

The Fake Woke Gang are on Sauti Sol’s case!
Y’all are probably the bunch that were trolling them when they tweeted about “TIBIM” and your “Tano Tena” shenanigans.— Evans Bett (@iam_bett) August 22, 2018
