Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s daughter Rosemary Odinga has made her first public appearance since she was taken ill in February last year.
Rosemary appeared while celebrating her 41st birthday on Saturday where Family and friends converged at Deeps EA Horse Riding School in Kitusuru for the invite-only event.
Also inattendance included her two parents Mr Odinga, his wife Ida, her brother Raila Junior and sister Winnie Odinga.
Other invited guests included, Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris, Pius Ngugi, Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati, former Alego Usonga MP Sammy Weya and businessman Edwin Ngonga, among others.
Ms Odinga suffered a mild stroke in February 2017 leading to her hospitalization at the Nairobi Hospital.
Initial reports indicated that she was having a brain tumor and on February 28 she was flown to South Africa for further treatment. She returned in May last year.
The illness forced her to drop out of the Kibra parliamentary race which was eventually won by incumbent Ken Okoth.
