Toni Kroos is in the pink again just weeks after Germany’s World Cup blues.The Real Madrid midfielder had a huge portrait of his daughter in pink sunglasses tattooed onto his left forearm – following a picture of his son inked on his other arm.
The former Bayern Munich ace, 28, celebrated daughter Amelie’s second birthday with a touching tribute.He then posted the results of tattoo artist Markus Huschka’s artistry on Instagram, saying: “Great job! thanks Markus.” Huschka himself put up a snap of the tattoo first, with Kroos replying: “Love it.”
Kroos’ post today attracted more than 175,000 likes within hours – while Huschka’s drew in more than 362,00 inside two days.Instagram followers were quick to praise Kroos as a dad and Huschka as a tattooist. Responses included: “So good.” .. “It’s too cool.” … and “Amelie has a great daddy.” In fact, the tattoo looks as intricate as many paintings.
Serious-looking Amelie is portrayed with her hair in a ponytail on top of her head – and the bright glasses complete a tattoo that is stunningly distinctive.
Huschka was just as detailed with his portrait of Kroos’ four-year-old son Leon on the superstar’s right arm.
Leon is wearing a big hat and above him is an old-fashioned clock, showing 2.30pm.
For Kroos Senior, who has been on a extended holiday after Germany’s shock early exit in Russia, it is almost time to join Real’s pre-season training.But unlike Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil, Kroos has not called time on his international career.
Jose Mourinho is targeting Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos this summer according to reports in Spain.
The Manchester United boss wanted to strengthen his midfield in the current transfer window and having already acquired Brazil international Fred he has now ‘set his sights’ on the Germany international, according to the latest gossip. Spanish outlet AS report United have given up on signing Gareth Bale, following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus, and instead Mourinho has turned his attentions to Kroos.
However, the report claims the La Liga giants have no interest in negotiating with United over the 28-year-old unless Kroos’ €500m release clause is triggered.
In other, slightly more bizarre transfer news, The Sun claim Anthony Martial has dropped a huge hint he is staying at the club because he has pulled out of a short term lease on city centre flat.
Martial’s agent said he wanted to leave earlier in the summer and Mourinho is willing to let him go. However, the report claims the Frenchman is now set to stay because he has stayed in his current property with his girlfriend.
But Mourinho is determined to sign Kroos to add quality to his midfield and close the gap on Premier League champions Manchester City.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, known for their bold and outlandish transfer claims, say Real will demand £107m (€120m) for the 28-year-old.
United are said to be reluctant to offer more than £71m (€80m) though for Kroos.
Manchester City are also credited with interest in the German star although Pep Guardiola is said to realise he is behind Mourinho in the transfer race.
The Special One has also opened up on his plans for the rest of the window.
“One thing is what I would like,” he said. “Another thing is what is going to happen.” Asked directly how many new signings he would like Mourinho was quick to reply. He explained: “I would get two more players.”
