Paul Pogba’s France is in the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup. They defeated Uruguay 2-0 in the quarterfinal on Friday and will play Belgium in the semifinal on Tuesday.
Paul Pogba has been under constant criticism from some section of United fans over the last two years. Though he was good for Manchester United in the last two seasons, it wasn’t enough for the United supporters. Pogba has scored 11 goals and assisted 14 more for United in his last two Premier League seasons.
Pogba is playing alongside N’Golo Kante in the middle of the park for France and has been instrumental in their success so far. Also, there are reports that Lionel Messi wants Barcelona to sign the United midfield maestro.
With a solid Sergio Busquets in the midfield, Pogba will have the luxury to make marauding runs into opponents box more often. He could make Barcelona a force to reckon with.
