With Portugal out of proceedings in Russia, Ronaldo’s next big task is to decide where he will be playing this season. He cast doubt on his future immediately after Madrid’s Champions League triumph in May, fuelling speculation that he could be on his way out of the Bernabeu.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Juventushave moved for the Portuguese forward and have opened talks over a summer move. Reports in Italy on Monday also made a similar claim, and neither club has yet announced if official talks are underway – but this might just be one to watch.
