Chelsea star eyeing Real Madrid transfer

Thibaut Courtois is ready to quit Chelsea — but only if he can get his dream move to Real Madrid.  The Belgium No.1 has confirmed that he will make a decision on his future after the World Cup as he enters the last 12 months of his Stamford Bridge contract. But he has now admitted that he has a “preferred destination” on where he wants to play next season after revealing the daily heartache he is put through by being away from his two children, who live in the Spanish capital with their mother.

The 26-year-old is on Real’s summer wish-list as they search for a new keeper to replace Keylor Navas. But he is also aware the European champions have made Roma’s Alisson their top choice — though they are unwilling to match the Italian club’s £80million valuation of the Brazil international.

To add to the intrigue, Chelsea would look to sign Alisson for Maurizio Sarri once the 59-year-old is confirmed as the new Blues’ boss after leaving Napoli. The only thing that seems clear is Courtois will want to leave Stamford Bridge if Madrid drop their interest in Alisson and Chelsea decide it’s better to cash in on him now that allow him to leave for free next summer.
