Is Fabregas the official DJ at the Russia 2018 World Cup?

Fabregas may have failed to make Julen Lopetegui’s final squad for the 2018 World Cup but the Chelsea star sure has a big role to play in the tournament in Russia, could it be a DJ role? We will find out. The Spanish international posted a video on Instagram of himself spinning the decks on a boat as Fifth Harmony’s ‘Down’ played out from the speakers as he enjoyed a day soaking up the sun and practising his DJ skills with family and friends on Monday. Anyways, the 32-year old won’t be doing the DJ job in Russia, rather will be assuming a pundit role.

Fabregas was announced as a pundit for the BBC team with the 2010 winner agreeing to offer his insights after being overlooked by Lopetegui.  Fabregas will be joining the likes of Gary Lineker, Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Alan Shearer, Phil Neville, Martin Keown, Pablo Zabaleta and Jurgen Klinsmann on the BBC group in Russia. He is set to show up on Friday when Spain open their Group B campaign against neighbors Portugal at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi.
