Often hailed by Real Madrid fans as a superhero on the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo is all set to play a superhero in the world of animated films too.
Ronaldo will be part of an animated series called ‘Striker Force 7’ which has been produced by the player and Bengaluru based Graphic India Pvt. Ltd. He will also take the lead role in the series. The Portuguese great had previously hinted at his passion for film making and it’s great to see him following his dream.
Along with it’s Indian association, the show will be aired in collaboration with USA’s VMS Communication, it can be watched through Facebook Watch, in addition to being produced in other formats such as comics, videogames or magazines.
Speaking to Deadline.com, Ronaldo spoke about his latest venture and said, “In the same way that football connects with cultures and people around the world, I think that animated characters and heroes can do the same.”
