Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been given the England number one shirt for this current summer’s World Cup.
The 24-year-old showed up when he began the 2-1 inviting triumph over Nigeria on Saturday.
Director Gareth Southgate demonstrated subsequently that Pickford would begin the opening World Cup amusement against Tunisia on 18 June (19:00 BST).
“There was somewhat of an announcement with the choice of Jordan,” he said.

Stir’s Jack Butland and Burnley’s Nick Pope – alternate goalkeepers in the squad – will wear 13 and 23 individually.
Commander Harry Kane, who wears number 10 at Tottenham, is given the number nine, with Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling wearing 10.
