With the conclusion of the Kenyan Premier league first leg games, we take a look at how the teams faired infront of goal.
Gor Mahia, despite having a very busy fixture schedule due to it’s involvement in the Confederations cup are the league’s highest scorers with 31 strikes so far. The attack spearheaded by Rwandese duo of Meddie Kagere and Jacquese Tuyisenge will be looking to transform that prolific form in continental football where they have only scored twice.
Kogallo’s arch rivals AFC leopards are second on the goalscoring chart with 28 goals followed by Sofapaka with 24. Other teams to hit the 20 goal mark are, Mathare 22, relegation threatened Zoo with 22, Nzoia sugar and Ulinzi stars with 21.
The teams with the least goals scored are Wazito who have only scored 13, defensive specialists Posta Rangers have found the net 14 times while the team with the least goals is unsurprisingly bottom of the log Sony Sugar with only 10 goals.
