Mohamed Salah won’t break Ramadan fast for battle against Real Madrid


According to media reports, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will not eat in the hours before Saturday’s Champions League final as he maintains his Ramadan fast.

The 25-year-old is a devout Muslim and has been abstaining from food and drink since Ramadan began on May 16.The period of fasting means Muslims cannot eat, drink or smoke during daylight hours for the month.

Egyptian newspaper Al Masry al Youm say that Salah has rejected the idea of breaking the fast.
