Liverpool pinpoints Real Madrid’s weakness

Liverpool is busy analyzing the Real Madrid team performance ahead of the weekend UEFA Champions League match in Kiev, Ukraine. Coach Jurgen Klopp believes that their opponents have massive fault lines that need to be exploited.

“I look at Madrid, and think ‘Marcelo is brilliant’,” the German manager told The Mirror. “But maybe he is a weakness for them too, as it leaves space where you have strength?

“You saw it, everybody saw it, seems obvious: ‘Marcelo, what an offensive player, but… he can’t defend’.”

Klopp is equally aware of the attacking talent that Liverpool’s opponents possess. Virgil van Dijk will be up against Cristiano Ronaldo and potentially Gareth Bale should the Welshman get the nod.
