This Player Was Not Included In World Cup 2018 Squd Because Of Being A ‘Club Flop’

Luis Alberto is a youth product of Sevilla. He also had a loan stint with Barcelona B, with the Catalan side having the option of making the deal permanent if things went in their favour. Fast forward a year later, he ended up in Anfield and the English Premier League. A bad three years at the club quickly got him the label of ‘club flop’.

In the 2017/18 season, he made 34 league appearances, scoring 11 goals and racking up 16 assists.  Valued at £35 million at present, the player has come under the radar of Barcelona once again.

His only international appearance came way back in November 2017, under the current manager who does not seem to have any plans for the player at the moment.
