#Match Report: Buffon ends Juventus career on a winning note

It was a happy ending for Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon as he helped his side Juventus FC to a 2-1 win over Hellas Verona in the final Serie A match staged at Allianz Stadium in Turin on Saturday 19 May.

Buffon who has brought his stay at Juventus after 17 years of service managed to keep a clean sheet in the opening half which ended goalless.In the second half Daniele Rugani punished Verona following an error from Nicolas just three minutes after the restart. Miralem Pjanic added the second following a superb free kick three minutes later.

Debutant Carlo Pinsoglio was called on to replace Buffon at the 65th minute. He later conceded a goal at the 76th minute. Alessio Cerci was the scorer. Stephan Lichtsteiner  failed to score a penalty for Juventus.

 52′ Another Goal, Pjanic steps-up and curls superbly over the wall and into the net, leaving Nicolas flat-footed and put Juventus well on their way to another victory.
