Uhuru’s solemn promises to Solai Dam tragedy victims

The Head of State HE Uhuru Kenyatta led a strong delegation from the government on Wednesday in attending the Solai Dam Tragedy combined service.

While thanking the NGOs, government and local people for their response to the tragedy while working in unison.

“I have said it before and I repeat that we will keep helping the community that is affected here in Solai and everywhere else ensuring that your lives return to normalcy.”

“Schools that were destroyed as well I assure you that no harambee will be done but the government itself with handle that. Piping and water distribution will also be done to ensure you have clean water to use. The road we have started and I expect that we will launch it soon so that you get connected.”

“Any destruction on electricity will be repaired. Also the problem we have had for years almost over 40 year; I will be back here soon to ensure that you get your title deeds and settle down,” he finished.

The president finished by encouraging all the ‘wananchi’ citizens to register for NHIF.
