Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja has thrown a spanner in the works after Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko proposed Miguna Miguna as deputy governor.
In an early morning tweet, the senator insisted that self proclaimed leader of the NRM and a serious critic of the Jubilee administration will not take up the new role.
“Miguna will not become the Deputy Governor of Nairobi. Take that to the bank.” he tweeted.
The nomination has kicked off a storm in the Kenyan social media and mainstream circles with Kenyans expressing their opinion on the same.
