Wanted city goon surrenders to police

Brayan Shem Owino, one of the four suspects linked to the assault of former Nairobi Business District Association (NBDA) Chairman Timothy Muriuki  surrendered to the police  on Monday 14th May afternoon after he and his co- accused were denied anticipatory bail by the court aimed at stopping their arrest.

Shem, who was among the suspects seen on camera at hotel Boulevard assaulting Timothy Muriuki a fortnight ago, will now be arraigned in court on Tuesday 15th May.

According to the suspects lawyers, the suspects are willing to face legal justice so long as their fundamental rights and freedoms are respected and protected.T his comes after they claimed their lives were in danger.

Police had earlier placed a Ksh. 250,000 bounty on each of their heads.
