Neymar wins French leauge’s player of the year award

Neymar was named as France’s player of the year at a honors service in Paris on Sunday, and later brushed away inquiries over his future. The Paris Saint-Germain genius took the prize in spite of missing the most recent three months of the season because of damage.

The world’s most costly player scored 19 objectives in only 20 alliance diversions for PSG before affliction foot damage in February that required surgery in his local Brazil.

“I am extremely touched and exceptionally content with our season. It is a respect. Without my colleagues, I could never have gotten this honor,” said the 26-year-old, who gathered the prize from his distinguished countryman Ronaldo.

Neymar, who participated in PSG’s Ligue 1 title festivities on Saturday night, declined to talk about his future in the wake of gathering his honor.
