A member of the Nyeri county assembly Pauline Wanjira flew back home on Thursday after she was hit and injured by one of her colleagues while on a trip in Arusha, Tanzania where they had gone for a seminar.
Ms. Wanjira who is the MCA for Magutu Ward, claimed that her colleague MCA Anthony Dagita of Kirimukuyu Ward attacked her over supremacy battle that had started way back at the county assembly.
MCA Wanjira revealed that this was not the first time her colleague had attacked her, lamenting that despite reporting the previous incident to the police, no action was taken up to date.
