A traffic cop got killed on Thursday evening after he was mowed down by a bus at Ndara area on the Nairobi- Mombasa Highway.
As per reports, the officer was standing in the middle of road managing traffic when he was hit by a speeding bus coming from the opposite direction.
Voi OCPD Joshua Chesire said the driver of the bus, which was heading to Mombasa from Nairobi, was arrested and would bepresented in court on Friday. Passengers were transferred to another vehicle as police impounded the involved bus.
