On Saturday, Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations arrested 24 aliens among which 18 were Ethiopians and Six Eritreans at Merti.
This followed a combined operation by the security Team. According to DCI, the immigrants were found being driven through the bush from Moyale to Nairobi to avoid detection.
The Driver Escaped but is being sought. The 24 will be charged in Court on Tuesday.
