Nominated and Kieleweke squad master Maina Kamanda is man with several lives.
He has survived dirty city politics for decades and from being a Councillor to a member of parliament, the journey hasn’t been easy.

Maina Kamanda was born on 5th January 1951.He is from Murang’a County and attended Kagaa primary school.
During the previous election, Starehe MP Maina Kamanda was accused of providing cooked documents with his nomination papers.
The accusations led the CID to probe the matter following a request by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions headed by Keriako Tobiko, after members of Amani Kariakor-Pangani group lodged a complaint.
Kamanda had been accused of forging his O-level certificate, saying it had been issued by the East African Education Council in 1974, yet he has never been inside a secondary school classroom.
“His certificates are fake, the institutions he purports to have attended were closed a long time ago so he decided to take advantage of this,”source had said.
He is accused of alleging that he attended JKUAT and St Paul Universities.
