PHOTOS: Sonko’s constructs a FIFA standard Stadium in the City

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been lauded for the ongoing construction of a FIFA standard stadium in the city.

The Governor says that as he had promised, the construction of the new Dandora Stadium will be completed in the next two Months before his administration focuses on the next four sports facilities in Nairobi City.

The new Dandora Stadium will have notable features such as FIFA approved artificial turf and seats, modern flood lights, modern stalls and a gym center.

The other four stadia to be constructed by my administration are Jacaranda Grounds, Kariokor, Kihumbuini and Woodley grounds.

Just a couple days ago, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho was also lauded for overseeing the construction of the Bomu stadium in Mombasa and the general transformation in the city.

Bomu stadium is believed to be one of the best Stadium in the country and the only that meets a FIFA standard stadium.

With the ongoing construction of the Dandora Stadium, this could outshine the Mombasa one and count as the best which is also a win for the nation.

Kenyans have been complaining about the government failing to fulfill their promise of constructing stadiums which was part of their manifesto during the election period.

After the images of the Mombasa stadium and now the Dandora Stadium which is under the supervision of Sonko’s administration, there is hope that more is yet to come.
