The political tension rocking the Jubilee party continues to deepen as an outspoken Mp from mount Kenya hinted a revolution that will sweep majority of the politicians allied to the deputy president William Ruto.
Team Kenya comprising of 14 member of parliament has been camping on different occasions castigating the DP Ruto of being corrupt.
Led by former Starehe and nominated MP Maina Kamanda and Ngunjiri Wambugu,they claim that the DP is looting country’s resources usiong his colonies.
While speaking on Radio Jambo ,the former Starehe lawmaker questioned the credentials of Morkomen noting that he lacks respect to the head of state.
Kamanda said if Morkomen wont change and respect the head state he will face the consequences.
He said that Uhuru being directly involved in the same and having fully taken part, anyone from Jubilee questioning it is simply disrespecting the head of state.
Kamanda noted that the handshake has been of great benefit to the nation with regards to peace and political calm, and cannot be faulted by any politician meaning well for the country.
The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator has been leading a group of Ruto’s allies in questioning President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reconciliation with opposition leader Raila Odinga last year, terming it a fraud.
“Murkomen anaposema handshake ni bandia ni matusi kwa rais Uhuru (when Murkomen says the handshake is a fraud, he is openly disrespecting the President),” said the former Starehe MP.
He said that Murkomen is stuck in the past where popularity was gained by attacking Raila, and is now trying to fight the handshake so that the two can separate and he can get his punching bag back.
“Wakati umepita wa kupiga na kutukana watu fulani eti ndio upate kusikika (gone are the days when popularity was gained by firing attacks at each other),” he added.
Murkomen and team have claimed that Raila is using the handshake to break the Jubilee Party, now that he is close to the party’s top leadership.
Political analysts claim that section of politicians are trying to seek popularity y using orthodox means.
