Sonko revealed that the young lady is now undergoing treatment at the Mbagathi Hospital before she’s transferred to a rehabilitation center.

The Governor also noted that drug abuse remains a major challenge to the youth in Nairobi and the country in general.

In his earlier statement, Sonko had made clear that he is not planning to back out from his philanthropic gestures.

He also mentioned that the fact that he was crowned the good deeds Ambassador in Kenya by the Global good deeds organisation based in Israel makes him even more passionate about helping those in need.

Just a few days ago, he went on a 3 day trip with his team and ensured that the people affected by drought receive the relief food.

The Governor also was among the first people to give a quick response during the time when videos of ailing boxing legend conjestina went viral.

Despite some people faulting his leadership, the Governor defends his course saying that he will not sit back and watch his people suffer.
