Global Alert: King Kaka gets reprieve after his ‘dundaing’ smash is performed in NBA

It was joy and happiness for singer King Kaka when his ‘Dundaing’ hit song was played at the Dallas Maverick’s Basketball court.

King Kaka witnessed his song play at the basketball court before the day’s match could start.

The Dallas Mavericks (often referred to as the Mavs) are an American Professional Basketball team based in Dallas, Texas. The team plays in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member club of the league’s Western Conference Southwest Division.

The club’s official DJ is Poison Ivy, a Kenyan. This is not the first time the Kenyan DJ has put Kenyan music on the world map.

The DJ had earlier played the ‘Position’ hit song by Ethic featuring the Kansoul, and this time around, he played King Kaka’s Dundaing while the singer was present at the court to witness the Dallas Mavericks take on the Kings.

Just before the game could start, Kaka’s song was on airplay making the singer to go live on Instagram to enjoy the moment of his music career.

The artist also expressed his appreciation to the DJ for playing Kenyan music during such like world-watched events and functions.  

“Nilikuwa nakula my Burrgerrrr pole pole during the Dallas Mavericks game and Dundaing starts to play. Maximum respect to @poizonivythedjfor putting Ke Music on the map. #eastlandoroyalty 🇺🇸,” King Kaka said in a post on his Instagram where he also shared the video.
