ODM beefs up fight for hotly contested Embakasi seat

The Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) party has once again come out to strongly defend its member Irshad Sumra, who is contesting for the Embakasi South MP seat for a second time.

The electoral position has spurred political rivalry among the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition.

ODM believes Wiper did not win the seat fairly in the 2017 polls, and has warned leaders from the Jubilee party against supporting Wiper’s Julius Mawathe, saying Sumra is the “handshake” candidate.

“The ODM fire in Embakasi East is spreading faster than the wind,” ODM posted on its Twitter.
