Will Opposition Party ODM ever let embattled Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa rest or even have some peace of mind?
It looks like the Party’s decision to expell her has not given them some great level of satisfaction and members of the opposition outfit have now resorted to hurling insults at her during their political gatherings.
Makadara MP George Aldwa over the weekend called Aisha Jumwa all sorts of names as he hinted that ODM no longer needs her.
Aladwa said that Aisha should go and go forever and that her physical appearance no longer appealed to members of the Party.
“Sisi tulishasema Aisha Jumwa aende na aende kabisa. Hiyo kiuno yake hatuhitaji, hiyo raha yake hatuhitaji, ata yeye mwenyewe sio mtamu..Aende na aende Kabisa,” said Aladwa amid a great round of applause and cheers from Women Present.
On March 1st, ODM Party’s NGC unanimously voted to expel Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa from the party. The Party however deferred the decision to expel her Msambweni counterpart Suleiman Dori following his letter of apology to the Secretary General Edwin Sifuna in which be apologised to the party for his rebellion.
Aisha Jumwa would later find reprieve after Political Parties Disputes Tribunal temporarily stopped her expulsion from the Party.
The tribunal’s deputy registrar stopped the removal Ms Jumwa’s name from the Orange Democratic Movement membership list.
