Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho revealed long ago on his interest to run for the office of the President come 2022, this means he will be running againt Deputy President William Ruto who has also had the interesty to succeed President Kenyatta.
Governor Joho has now declared that he has all it takes to beat DP Ruto in the forthcoming presidential election.
While speaking during a fundraiser in Wajir County where he had accompanied ODM Leader Raila Odinga and Gatundu Member of Parliament Moses Kuria said, “I’m surprised of people talking about Ruto. I can floor Ruto myself, without help.”
The leaders were hosted by Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Gedi in an empowerment project for women in the county.
He further claimed that the DP has no leadership qualities having being mentioned in several corruption scandals.
Additionally he urged leaders from different parts of the nation to rally behind someone else other than Ruto.
