For instance, on Saturday, William Ruto took it to twitter and composed a short congratulated message to Fatuma Zarika. The shock on you, Kenyans on Twitter were really upset and poured their anger and critiques to him.
Am sure Ruto never expected such a simple post to draw much negativity from people. But what do we say? Perhaps the DP should seek truce between him and Citizens. Lol!
In the tweet, the DP said that the country enjoyed Zarika’s tactical prowess throughout the fight.
“Congratulations to World Boxing Council (WBC) Super Bantamweight Champion Fatuma Zarika for flooring challenger Catherine Phiri to retain the title. We savour your exploits following a dogged, tactical and assured display. #NairobiFightNight,” read the DP’s tweet.
A section of Kenyans however, cast doubt on DP Ruto’s tweet with some claiming that he did not even watch the fight.
Others tried to interpret the message saying that his congratulatory portrayed how corrupt he was.
