PHOTOS: DCI unmask faces linked to the Mombasa robbery at gunpoint incident

The Director of criminal investigation has today unmasked the faces behind the Mombasa robbery at gunpoint incident following their arrest.

The 5 suspects are in police custody and will be charged with the offence of robbery with violence.

Detectives say that their arrest is in connection with a robbery which happened in Aldina & Makande area.

According to the DCI, the suspects-Brighton Naiya Manyala, Mohamed Hassan, Chris Odhiambo Omondi, Evans Munyoki Mburiro & Mutonyi Nzamba-are the faces captured in the CCTV footage which exposed the crime.

AS revealed in the CCTV footage,three men are seen walking past the woman as she tries to complete a transaction at the money agent.

They then take her handbag after one of the men points a gun at her.

Two motorcycles-one used during the robbery-have been confiscated.

DCI detectives at the coastal town are pursuing other suspects connected with this & other robberies.
