Tycoon and vocal lawyer Donald Kipkorir has attacked the Luhya nation by questioning whether there is anything else their leaders bring together other than funerals claiming death is their only ideology.
Kipkorir also questioned why their sugar economy which is in the hands of tiny cartel can’t bring them together stating that Luhya can be our Mauritius but they rather celebrate death than life.
Speaking during the 6th Devolution Conference in Kirinyaga, the Head of State said the corruption debate had been taken to funeral and wedding ceremonies instead of allowing agencies tasked to deal with it do their job.
“Don’t threaten people at funerals. The dead will not help you. The only place where you can get help is at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI),” he stated, to which the crowd applauded.
Many seemed to agree with Donald Kipkorir.
However he was served a hot clap back on the sugar issue after one directed him to friends from Nyanza saying Kidero knows what happened.
He was also informed that the Luhya economy is way better than Kipkorir’s people who are now all over international news asking for relief food.
Turkana villagers have been decrying hunger pangs as leaders play down drought.
Turkana leaders have asked the Government to apologise to residents for supplying relief food long after those who needed it most had died of hunger.
Many put Boni Khalwale on the spot light for spear heading this meetings and political trips.
Do you agree that the luhya leaders should up their game?
