Mombasa anti narcotic detectives arrest ‘King of Heroin’

A businessman who owns a fleet of trucks that operate within East Africa was arrested as he was allegedly preparing to make a delivery of heroine to his chain of distributors.

His arrest comes at a time when the government underlined the growing dominance of drug cartels on the illegal Kenyan drug market especially marijuana

Mombasa businessman arrested with Heroin worth Ksh.1.5 million

The Mombasa based businessman was caught by detectives drawn from the DCI with heroine with a street value of Ksh 1.5 million concealed in his new car and were wrapped in a polythene bag.

The businessman is suspected of being involved in the drug trafficking business for almost a decade and resides in Tudor.

Timami is currently being held at Central police station, Mombasa and will be arraigned in court on Monday.
