Gospel music power couple Eko Dydda and his wife,Cynthia Ayugi, are said to be undergoing turbulent times.
Word on the street is that he had an altercation with the wife which lead to her leaving their Nairobi apartment.
It is not clear what brought on the disagreement. However, sources claim that the wife is now staying at the relative’s home in Jericho.
Speaking to Kiss 100.co.ke, Eko Dydda refused to add fuel to the rumour mill and fueling the fires further by simply stating that those are claims orchestrated by “someone who wants to bring him down”.
Adding, “To be honest, I never comment about negative stories. I’m all about positive energy.”
The Kenyan gospel musician has however deleted his wife’s pictures from his Instagram page.
In a past interview, he said, “Everyone wants a hot wife and the hot women want rich guys. This is wrong. They should build each other and ultimately, they will be rich in the future. Everyone starts somewhere and I have been with my wife before I even started singing.”
In a Facebook social media post, Eko Dydda bragged about his wife.
“I see most people say true love doesn’t exist, and happily ever after is only in the movies. That is only true If he came for the beauty and she came for the money/fame/power, but if he/she is a gift from GOD then you will experience happily ever after and true love.”
He continued, “Abraham and Sarah did, Isaac and Rebecca did, and all these were not material oriented relationships. Ok hao ni wa kitambo. I met her in this generation before the fame and the money.”
