But according to some Kenyans it still doesn’t add up why a pay bill no has been launched to feed the starving Kenyans who the government can strongly confirm that it will account for their needs.

Speaking in boma hotel, Gina Din Group founder said that two weeks ago, 800,000 Kenyans were affected by the drought and currently the figure sits at over 1.1 million. Sha further said that it would be unequal to sit back and wait for those numbers to go up.
In 2011 , a joint initiative was launched by the Kenya red cross, Safaricom Foundation, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Media Owners Association (MOA) to raise more than Ksh500million in 4 weeks towards relief for 3 million Kenyans that were faced with starvation in the Northern part of Kenya.
Kenya Red Cross says that it would like to respond to 300K most affected Kenyans in the hardest to reach areas. 17 counties have been affected by drought and Kenyans in these counties have difficulty accessing water, food and health care.
Also in attendance was Clifford Machoka, Head of Corporate Affairs, Nation Media Group who added, “I know many of us are unhappy with the current situation but let’s come together to assist Kenyans in this time of need.”
But will Kenyans support the motion?
