Mudavadi pins Uhuru down with his latest remarks

President Uhuru Kenyatta who is currently struggling to regain control of his social media accounts has been pinned down by ANC Musalia Mudavadi.

Musalia Mudavadi who is currently staring at a divorce by part of members of the ANC party has sent new waves of demands to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking during the official closing ceremony of the Inter-Professional Summit in Shanzu, Mombasa on Friday, Musalia said that graft has reached unprecedented levels.

He called upon President Uhuru Kenyatta-led government to ensure public resources are well-utilized for the benefit of the taxpayers. He also insisted that there is no way the government will allow a few individuals to bring down the economy.

“Kenyans should not be deceived. These graft and embezzlement happenings have jolted our international development partners who are now seriously contemplating scaling down vital support,” he said.

He also said that corruption has become part and parcel of our daily lives. Mudavadi further indicated that Kenyans need to support Uhuru, who is completing his second and final term in office, to end the vice.

“The most common phrase in conversations in Kenya today is grand corruption. You should be forgiven to imagine that pirates & masters of plunder have taken hostage the country’s public institutions. Together with their allies, they’re using their presence in govt to ruin the country,” he added.

The remarks come at a time when the government has been hit by endless scandals including Sh21 billion saga and fake currency scam at Barclays Bank.
