Kenyans raise questions over the deactivation of the President’s social media accounts

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Twitter account was on Friday deactivated minutes after he declared war even on his political allies.

While Speaking in Namibia, the head of state said no one will be spared.

“If you are corrupt we will fight you. You can be my brother or my sister or my closest political ally, but if you are corrupt we will fight you,” Uhuru said.

The message was posted on his Twitter account.

However, KOT noted that the President’s account had been brought down minutes later.

“Sorry, that page doesn’t exist! You can search Twitter using the search box below or return to the homepage,” the page read.
