Tanzanian Artist Harmonize has today sponsored a section of Kariakoo businessmen and women by buying them licenses
The Singer says that the reason why he felt entitled to help is because he was once a businessman before he ventured into his music career.
The artist says that during his time, traders used to go through a lot of challenges because they were ot licensed and therefore the Government did not recognize them.
With the changes that have been made by the Tanzanian Government, Harmonize says that he decided to make this move with the understanding that with the license, the traders will easily conduct their businesses without distractions.
Harmonize says that he had targeted 200 traders and has succefully issues the licenses today.
Speaking to Wasafi Media, he added that in the future he will look into the possibility of helping more people.
The artist says that he understands that it is indeed not easy for some traders to afford the license which might be because the system was introduced on such a short notice or for other reasons.
He maintains that his intention is purely to help and give back in the society
