Rashid Echesa may have been fired more than 20 days ago but he still continues to make headlines.
Echesa became the first class 7 dropout to be appointed Minister by the Jubilee government. I think this should be included in the Guinness Book of Records. Imagine he was sitting in the same Cabinet with PhD holders like Amina Mohammed and Matiang’i.
On Wednesday, the embattled Western Politician became a butt of all jokes in Parliament during the approval of Prof. Magoha as Education CS.
Suna East MP Junet Mohammed brought the whole house to a loud laugh after saying that Echesa was approved with only a birth Certificate.
“If parliament, in its own wisdom, approved the appointment of Rashid Echesa whose only qualification was a birth certificate, then we should not even debate Magoha” Junnet said.

Echesa will regret the day he accepted to join Uhuru’s Cabinet. I don’t think there is a day he slept in peace.
Police raided Echesa’s Karen Home on Sunday night and confiscated his guns.
According to the police report at Kilimani Police station, OB68/17/3/2009, the DCI officers took Echesa’s Beretta pistol and recovered 15 bullets during the operation.
Echesa is also under investigations about sh 32 billion fake currency that was recovered in Ruiru early this month.
Francis Atwoli revealed on live tv that he cursed Echesa, maybe it is time the former Minister lowers his ego and asks for forgiveness.
