Human beings always hold the belief that there is life after death, that there is resurrection and then eternal life in heaven. But nobody wants to die, or at worse loss a loved one.

March 10th will go down as the worst day in the life of Paul Njoroge. Mr. Njoroge started the day with so much happiness, he was supposed to receive his beloved wife and three sons, who were traveling from Canada with his mother in law.

Little did he know that he would loss all of them in the ill fated Ethiopian Aircrash that claimed a total of 157 lives.

It is now 11 days, since the ill fated Boeing 737 Max 8 crashed six minutes after take off and bringing the whole world to a standstill.

But Mr. Njoroge has received another sad news, there are no bodies to bury. At least 5.000 pieces of human bodies were collected from the accident scene and the government says it will need at least six months to conduct DNA tests.

Some families have been forced to bury soil they picked from Ethiopia last week, but Mr. Njoroge says he will not do that.

“This is a big loss for me. It is too painful, but I guess there is nothing much I can do other than accept it and let people continue with their lives,” he said.

Mr Karanja, said during Wednesday’s prayers that family and friends would converge at the St Michael Parish Church on March 29 for a requiem mass.

“I have gained a lot of strength over the past few days because the church, relatives, the Nakuru County Government and the entire community have stayed with me throughout and they have encouraged me,” he said.
